I do my Shave like This
By warrioRR
Just Checking Shave
Lets Get Started
- Shaving when the skin is dry, leads to razor burns and red slashes across the chin and cheeks, so thats why i use warm water or Luke warm water to make my beard soften and wet.
- A healthy dose of moisturizer before shave is as well as a lovely idea.
- I use a gentle, creamy shaving lotion as he softens the hairs of my face and makes shaving so easy. I refer Shaving gel not Foam.
- I Gentle Massage my shaving gel in to the area to be shaved. Shaving gel will give me the best results and be a lot less drying.
- I do not use foams, gels and products that contain agents such as Benzedrine or menthol. They may give a great lather but can dry and irritate the skin, close your pores and stiffen your beard. So i Use formula for sensitive skin its is good for all types of skins.
Tips While Shaving
- I use hot (not too much hot just warm) water while shaving. It helps to soften the beard, open pores & cleanse skin.
- I make sure that my razor is sharp. Elderly, blunt blades spoil a shave. They drag the skin and do not give a SMOOTH shave.
- For better shaving control, i use a razor that handle heavier than the blades.
- First i shave in the same direction as hair growth, this prevents in-growth to a giant extent. Then re-lather & shave slightly against the direction of hair-growth for a closer and smooth shave. The second shave is burn little more.
- More short strokes are a very good option than a long long drag as they give a cleaner shave.
- I rinse mine razor in the warm water to remove hairs in it.
Tips After Shaving
- I finish by rinsing off with Chill water. It will close the skin pores.
- then i use a skin toner to remove any residuum, close the face pores and To become fresh again the skin.
- For small cuts i use a moistened alum block (Phatkri in Urdu Language) to stop the bleeding.
- Apply a moisturizing agent such as an aftershave lotion i prefer a aftershave smoother on the shaved areas. I avoid alcohol-based aftershaves lotions as they tend to dry the skin.
